Connie Boglis is a passionate Advocate, Author, Counsellor & Youth Worker of over 16 years and most recently turned her personal adversity into a positive platform for mental health reform.
In 2019 Connie was acknowledged by Prime Minister Scott Morrison as a finalist in UNSW Australian Mental Health Prize and published her first book Once Upon a Feeling. A mindful story helping children to explore and express their emotions through creative techniques and conversations with the adults in their life.
Connie has sat on National Committees for the Department of Veterans Affairs Open Arms, Beyond Blue Way Back Support Program (Veterans), formed The Australian War Memorial "sufferings of war" committee to place a sculpture on the grounds to acknowledge the war that comes home & is an Ambassador for The Australian National Veterans Art Museum.
Connie has completed a QUT University - Woman in Politics Program in Brisbane in 2020 and currently works for a state MP continuing her advocacy across Victoria.
