Connie Boglis is a passionate Advocate, Author, Counsellor & Youth Worker of over 17 years and most recently turned her personal adversity into a positive platform for mental health reform. 

In 2019 Connie was acknowledged by Prime Minister Scott Morrison as a finalist in UNSW Australian Mental Health Prize and published her first book Once Upon a Feeling which is a mindful story helping children to explore and express their emotions.

Connie has sat on National Committees for the Department of Veterans Affairs Open Arms & though federal government advocacy initiated the roll out of their Community & Peer mentor program. Beyond Blue were funded to pilot The Way Back Support Program (Veterans) and she also sat on that committee. Connie formed The Australian War Memorial "sufferings of war" committee to place a sculpture on the grounds to acknowledge the impacts of war & is currently an Ambassador for The Australian National Veterans Art Museum.

Connie has completed a QUT University - Woman in Politics Program in Brisbane in 2020, currently works for a state MP continuing her advocacy across Victoria and is the President of the newly formed Labor for Veterans and Families, Victoria.
